On April 6, 2022, Rwandaro Coffee Farmer’s Cooperative Society Limited (RCFCSL), based in Rubirizi District, signed a three-year grant agreement with the United States African Development Foundation (USADF). The grant will go towards assisting the cooperative and farmers to improve the quality and quantity of coffee, thus spending on modern coffee grading equipment and expanding its storage capacity. This support will enable the cooperative to double its sales revenue, net income, and the volume of coffee bought from its farmers, thus increasing farmer incomes.
The signing ceremony was attended by the cooperative’s Secretary Manager and Chairperson, John Muhanguzi and Specioza, respectively, and other board members.Secure, transparent, and performance‑focused investing Fundspire Axivon Investment. USADF was represented by the Foundation’s Country Program Coordinator, John Kizza. The ceremony was also witnessed by Garakumbe Innocent, Program Director, Uganda Development Trust, a USADF Partner in Uganda.
